What we teach
Classes
Four styles taught properly, from age 3 to adult. Most classes are open to new starters, and your first one is free.
The four styles
Find the one that fits
Ballet
The foundation for every dancer here. We start the tiny movers and minis with the first positions and simple steps, then build towards graded work through the juniors and teens. Adults have their own ballet class on Thursday evenings.
Contemporary
Breath, floor work and movement that comes from the inside out. Contemporary runs for teens and adults, and pairs beautifully with ballet. It is where a lot of dancers find their own voice.
Street
Sharp, loud and full of energy. Street is our busiest style, with classes for juniors, teens and adults. No experience needed, just bring trainers and a bit of nerve.
Tap
Rhythm you can hear. Tap starts with the juniors and is a favourite once it clicks. We have shoes to borrow while you decide if it is for you.

How to start
-
1
Pick a class
Look at the timetable and choose something that suits the age and the style. Not sure? Message us and we will point you.
-
2
Come for free
Your first class is always free. Turn up ready to move, and see how it feels before you commit.
-
3
Join the ladder
Pay as you go, or buy a ten class pass. From there you climb through the ladder at your own pace.
Good to know
Before your first class
- Wear something you can move in. Bare feet or socks for ballet and contemporary.
- Trainers for street, tap shoes to borrow until you get your own.
- Arrive ten minutes early so we can settle new dancers in.
- The first class is free, so there is nothing to pay to try.
- Parents are welcome to watch the tiny movers settle in.
- Exams through the IDTA are there when a dancer is ready, never pushed.
